2007 Holiday Schedule

Federal law (5 U.S.C. 6103) establishes the following public holidays for Federal employees. Please note that most Federal employees work on a Monday through Friday schedule. For these employees, when a holiday falls on a nonworkday -- Saturday or Sunday -- the holiday usually is
observed on Monday (if the holiday falls on Sunday) or Friday (if the holiday falls on Saturday).

** Sunday, November 11, 2007,
is the legal public holiday for Veterans
Day. Monday, November 12, 2007 is the observed day, not a federal
holiday. Therefore, Monday, 11/12 does count as a day of rescission.
However, it must be noted that lenders may not wish to count this day for their
purposes. A lender can choose not to count any day, but must not count any
day designated as a Federal Holiday.
